Very good

Ideal for one night. Excellent staff.

Ideal one night stopover close to Le Shuttle. Very efficient and nice staff. Comfortable, spacious rooms. Good for the price. Evening meal quite good for what it is - pub type food. Useful to be able to have a take away breakfast. WiFi good.

Breakfast not bad but could improve quality of some items and coffee not great.

Close to the shuttle, friendly staff, value for money Greeted at reception in a very friendly manner, domestic staff friendly, breakfast served a purpose, good coffee. Comfy room for a night, close to the shuttle, a 6 min drive. Would 100% stay again

Pleasant

Convenient but pricey!

The location for the channel tunnel was super as was the map which we were given. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. Free parking. The receptionist was helpful. There was a place to eat breakfast with our dog.

The dog charge is very expensive. It was 20! We've travelled through France and Spain and it is cheaper and some places do not charge for a dog.

Very poor

Stay somewhere else even if it isn't as convenient

Very convenient for the Channel Tunnel. The room was a reasonable size.

Everything was audible from the hallway and neighbouring rooms which for a hotel that is focused on welcoming travellers at all hours is hugely problematic. The room was dusty. The sofa in the room was uncomfortable. The chain on the door was broken. The shower was not very powerful. The coffee at breakfast was weak. Instead of putting in place a proper parking system, they threaten 100 fine without giving a receipt for registering your car.

Disappointing

Did not like anything about it. From the cold disorganised arrival to the lack lustre departure.

We waited some time to check in as the receptionist was doubling as a waitress. The whole operation seemed short staffed. The dog friendly dining area was cramped, the cutlery was not clean and we were told the kitchen was closing at 9.15 I. E. 5 mins after we arrived. Having phoned earlier in the day to ask, we were told that the kitchen would not close until 9.30. Our room was cold, the heating did not appear to work, still blowing cold air when set to 25 and making a noise like a seal All night. The bed was small. Only had 3 pillows of poor standard and the mattress tried to tip you off throughout the night. Breakfast was poor with no white bread or fruit compote by 6.45am when it only opened at 6am. The very nice waiter said he would go and get more but not much use to people in a hurry to catch a ferry. We have stayed at the same branded hotel in Southampton and it is like night and day. Southampton is a slick, professional operation, with charming staff.

Exceptional

Perfect stay with our doggie.

Super dog friendly, even let our doggie have a pie from the restaurant as we had forgotten his food on our journey and arrived too late to get anything from a supermarket. Excellent service.

Wouldnt change anything at all.
