The Holiday Inn Bar Harbor Regency Hotel offers an excellent location with well-kept grounds. The hotel restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices. However, the carpet in the room is older and (Read More)there is no microwave. The front desk staff are nice but failed to address a ripped shower curtain. The coffee bar offers decent options, and a free shuttle to downtown Bar Harbor is available. Some guests desired a small sundry shop and pen and paper in the room for a five-star experience.

The location of the hotel is good.
We stayed here for 2 nights. The receptionist gave us map and informed us that our room is in Eden house building. The staff didnt escort us to the room, we spent 15mins looking for Eden house as there was no sign or board mentioning the building name. The hotel room was pretty outdated, beds were old, AC was old and making lot of noise. There were no basic toiletries such as toothpaste and brush. We paid 600$ for 2 nights which was a total rip off. The hotel corridor had a flower vase, the flowers had gone old, they werent replaced. Overall was very disappointed with the stay, the hotel badly needs an upgrade or they should reduce the prices.
