Room was very cold and I couldnt turn the heating on as it was locked The bar closed at 19.30 just when I wanted to go for a drink

Great staff, service, and food - shame about the stench of dogs in reception areas.

OMG! the stench of dogs, and foul dog odours, hits you as soon as you walk into reception area, and follows you upstairs to your room, horrible! Luckily, the room smelled a lot better, and was dog free! What a shame! Great staff, food, and room, but OMG, the reception area nearly made me vomit - sorry.

Would we stop again if in the area ? Certainly Yes excellent value.

From arriving at the hotel and until departure we were impressed with the professional polite staff who all make you feel welcome . The property is spotlessly clean and the decor, bedding,food etc. are all of excellent quality.

The Wi-fi wasnt working away from the lounge/bar area . Lacking of a king size bed in our bedroom but to be fair the bedding was luxurious.

Excellent stay, value for money

All the staff were very pleasant and obliging. The food on the evening was exceptional and very good value. The breakfast was excellent and all freshly cooked. The hotel lounge was very colourfully decorated with Xmas decorations, very warming and welcoming. The room was very well equipped and spotlessly clean, as was the ensuite. Overall an excellent stay.

We were disturbed early by other guests going for breakfast or checking out. But we are light sleepers.
