Hodgkinsons Hotel in Matlock Bath is described as a gem with a 1920's feel and a rich history. The rooms are immaculately clean and filled with antique furniture, with a comfortable bed. The breakfas (Read More)t is plentiful and staff are accommodating, even catering to special dietary requirements. The hotel's location overlooking the river Derwent is ideal and the staff are friendly and communicative. Highly recommended for a stay.

Breakfast was outstanding.

Restaurant closed in evening, but we had been made aware of this before booking. Just disappointed as breakfast was so good. Will have to go back at a later date when it's open again.

A nice place to stay if you are in the area.

The room was very nice, the breakfast was good.

The room was cold to begin with but warmed up later. The bath plug didnt quite fit properly so the water ran out slowly.
