Very good

Good location

Made special request to check in earlier than 4pm as booked a meal in the city centre. Two friends received keys on arrival at 2.30pm. We didnt get access until after 4pm.

Very poor

Disappointing.

We booked this because it is opposite the castle.

We were given a room the smallest and coldest and the furthest from the castle! It was Jan 03 and extremely wet (flooding everywhere) and cold, yet we had a thin summer duvet on and were shivering in bed. We we rang to request a blanket (there were no extras in the room) a winter duvet and duvet cover were delivered separately, leaving us to put it together ourselves!!!! This is the Hilton! The room, 236, had the sound of constant running water behind the TV and mould coming through. The staff were as lovely as youd want and expect; we cant fault their manner.

The location was excellent. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Side of the room Was good.

The room standard didnt meet expectations. Some areas of the bathroom were tired. Lighting was not good. The parking charge on top of the room rate was bad- this should have been part of the room cost. Overall slightly disappointed.

Below average stay, definitely gone down hill.

Location is great - Ive stayed here before and previous experience was much better.

Staff were unhelpful ( I asked about an interconnected room and the staff member didnt even offer me one and told me I was not allowed that room! ) The room we had had a Constant dripping tap in the bathroom it was dirty, no air con. People smoking the door of the hotel .

perfect location

lovely looking property could do with a little attention to detail such as mould in the bath along the sides and a very old shower curtain that was badly stained

no fridge, poor tea tray, bathroom was very tired with shower curtain that was a horrible yellow and mould around the bath, bed was very uncomfortable didnt sleep well
