Not a pleasant stay
The breakfast was sufficient. The beds were comfortable. The location was good for us.
The bathroom was tired and slightly grubby looking with not enough liquid soap in the shower room.

Comfortable bed, cheap price. Free parking.
The room was not clean. It had an old sofa bed that was covered in hair. Even though our room was empty they wanted to charge us half the price of our entire reservation just to get into the room an hour early before we went to a wedding. They said there was nowhere for us to even leave our bags if we didn't pay this, and that when we came back from the wedding it would be too late to check in, so essentially we had no choice. Not impressed.

Beautiful inn with comfortable rooms next to the grand union canal in Weedon
A very nice pub next to the canal. We had a large, comfortable room with comfortable beds in a separate building from the pub, so the room was quiet even when the pub was busy. The staff were very friendly. Great value for money.

Ok for the money
Location was great for our wedding at Dodmoor house. Staff didnt really seem to know what day it was/what they were doing. Staff were scruffy. Food was ok, bought out by staff holding plates with their jumpers over their hands! A few things missing from dinner when we asked they said they had run out
