Overall a pleasant stay in a good location with friendly staff but 5 star is a stretch.

Good location and close to city with short walk to get to all sights. Room was good size and staff were all very friendly. Great selection for breakfasts.

Bar beside reception was small with rarely anywhere to sit and limited drinks selection. Restaurant menu was limited and didnt really cater for children.

Location is superb, great buzz about the hotel. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Buffet breakfast was the best we ever had in a hotel.

If I had anything negative to say it would just be the I personally was not too keen on the overall decor and the room was tad small.

we arrived from Vienna via train. walked around 5min from train station to grandium hotel. spacious room, high ceiling, comfy bed and pillows very big breakfast area and lots of choices had a good stay!

Location was good for the old town. Housekeeping was wonderful and serviced our room to suit us. Breakfast was outstanding. So much choice. Big bed and good linens.

No where to hang coats especially when damp. The only hooks covered the mirror. Our two large suitcases took up a lot of the available space. Why didn't the bedside tables and other table have built in drawers ? Really short on storage spaces. No heated towel rail in bathroom to dry clothes overnight Bathroom was cold. New Years event was poor. Restaurant closed at 22.00 and no attempt at seeing in the New Year! The concierge was not there for many days over Christmas
