The staff were friendly and accommodating, making it feel like a home away from home. The hotel also offered a great view. Overall, it is highly recommended and guests expressed a desire to return.

Fantastic. We would stay there again.

Beautiful Manor House. Exceptional decor. Had practically everything we wanted. Fantastic service and hospitality. Thembi, the Manager on duty was a gem. We were made to feel very special.

The Internet connection wasnt great so we couldnt watch a film as we hoped one evening. The mini bar fridge made a lot of noise which interrupted our sleep a bit. The bed was very comfy and big but the bedding was not really comfortable. Some bath oil or salts would have been a nice accompaniment to the luxurious dual baths with jets.

The room is amazing. There was the problem with energy supply in South Africa, that created some problems in the comfort of our staying. The set of porcelain plates they have is amazing. The table cloth, the napkins, a luxury.

The light enter in the room in the morning for me it is not a problem. I get up with the birds.

Very good

I spent relaxing time at the manor house.

The manor was sumptious and staff and breakfast were great. Very relaxed. Breakfast was fantastic and covered all options.

Superb

A personal luxurious house close to Hermanus

This was an amazingly luxurious property overlooking the Indian Ocean. Amazing personal attention to detail in the rooms and within the property. Lovely cliffside walk to Hermanus in about 20 mins (5-6 minute drive).

Would be usual (normal) for the guests to be able to let themselves in and out of the property without having to bother the manageress. Other than that its a lovely place.

Very poor

Absolutely unacceptable level of attitude from the owner to the guests of the hotel. We arrived at 8am on the day of check-in to leave our luggage at the hotel until check-in as we were planning a morning boat trip to see the whales. But we were not even allowed into the territory, and we had to leave our suitcases in the car outside the hotel. After 3 hours, we were again not allowed into the hotel, even to the toilet, communication took place through the gate. You are truly not welcome here. Inside the bathroom is not safe, 2 steps. In the morning for breakfast yesterday's shriveled croissants and very weak coffee.
