Loved it so much!

The place is so old, its lovely to stay in because of the history of the building. The staff were really lovely! The Minster suite was beautiful

I think a little sprucing up in the bars would make a real difference, its a bit grubby (sorry)

For the cost of the room it seemed expensive for what it was if it wasnt for the location I would say this is very over

The location is great

I know its an old building however there had been a leak in the roof at some point and the remnants of the leak were still there, also lots of things to plug in ie iron/kettle/coffee machine/fan but only one plug socket could be found

Location was great. Room was warm, clean and comfortable, breakfast was awesome but the staff actually made the stay perfect.

Superb

A beautiful, historic place to stay. The bed was very comfy and the rooms were lovely and warm and beautifully decorated. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was great. The location is ideal for pretty much everything in York.

With being a very busy pub with live music every night it can be a bit noisy until quite late but that's to be expected, if you book a pub stay and complain about something like that you're just silly.

Great little pub and hotel in a brilliant location,couldnt have asked for anymore.

Great old building,in a good location in the heart of york, car park around the corner, and the bar is open late so you can enjoy your day out and have a little drink before bed.

Nothing really,can be a little noisy but is above a pub.

It was a quirky/unique fantastic location room that was spotless. Staff were very friendly and able to get in and out anytime of the day and night as they gave you key food, and breakfast was very pleasant to would definitely stay again
