Overall a nice stay

The hotel design is definitely something that made the most impression on me and is the reason why I chose it. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We were staying here for the New Year's weekend and we were able to have dinner without prior reservation. Plus the bar party turned out to be surprisingly fun. The location is good, it's only a short walk from the station and in a nice and peaceful part of the city.

There was a booking mistake and we were only booked for one day of breakfast instead of two. That was a little disappointing but not that big a deal. The description states that we were supposed to have bathrobes and slippers in our room, which were nowhere to be found. Lastly, the hotel is clean but I feel like the cleanliness could be upgraded to the next level as I noticed dust in the room even though we had housekeeping every day.

Beautiful designed hotel, close to my family

Well decorated and designed. Loved the bar. Intimate ,lovely staff and cool drinks.

WE LOVE IT !

Great location - Great Architecture post-industrial with amazing new york loft style. We love it ! Nice breakfast buffet. Good bar. All employees were sympathatic and professional. The place to be in Hamburg.

Good

Comfortable but expensive for what it is. There are for sure better options in Hamburg.

Good breakfast, large and comfortable room. Yoga mat is a nice touch.

For the price, fitness and spa should not be charged extra.

Fantastic hotel with stunning industrial architecture, free parking, great service and nice food.

Having stayed at Gastwerk hotel previously, I booked the hotel again because we enjoyed our stay so much on our earlier visit. We really appreciate the hotel location and industrial vibe, and the architecture is stunning - a real gem! The restaurant staff were always friendly and service was impeccable. Breakfast offered a good selection for all tastes. It was great to be able to charge our car on location in the free car-park - another positive feature.
