Two nights at French Gardens in Kandy were great. Warm welcome with drinks, clean room, and a pleasant atmosphere. The food, especially the curry, stood out as one of the best we've had in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend for a short stay while exploring Kandy.

A peaceful and quiet getaway

The owner was so kind. There were 2 big dogs that were so friendly and greeted every guest. It was away from town surrounded by lush greenery so it was pretty calm and quiet. Getting an Uber was the only difficulty we faced. You could walk up 1 km and get a tuk from up front which is a little more expensive than an Uber. This place was definitely worth for our money spent.

The towels given were not in the cleanest state. Everything other than that was very much to our liking.

Excellent stay, beautiful place in the jungle. The hotel owners are amazing. Kind and generous. And cheerfully. Wonderful service and the food is nothing short of amazing. I recommend visiting this hotel
