Really paradise!

A fantastic place to spend a few days in Bora Bora, especially for people who want to prepare their own meals. The cottage had everything we needed and more. A large and comfortable bed, which for us is the most important thing when traveling. Everywhere was very clean. Great view! Two bicycles are at guests' disposal for free. You can rent a scooter for an additional fee. Store just on the corner! The owners run this place with big passion. They were very helpful. Hope we can come back here one day!

Very close to the main road. In the morning you can hear some car's.

Recommendation if you don't want a resort...

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The short introduction to the island and the accomodation was helpful to get started. Host could also arrange excursions if you'd like. The accomodation provided all that was needed for cooking, laundry, relaxing (tv with netflix app), etc. and even contained some basics (some water, fruit, oil, salt/pepper, etc.). Airconditioning is great. Lovely to sit or lie in the garden on the provided furniture (trees around it cover the area for privacy). The location is a bit remote, but the provided bikes make it easy to get around the island (if you don't mind to take some time to bike). There is a small supermarket around the corner for the very basics. And if you don't know what to do: just grab the lonely planet lying around....

Great host, cute little bungalow, beautiful view, well equipped kitchen. Sandra was very helpful and welcoming and helped us book a tour of the island. We enjoyed our stay very much.

HIDDEN GEM !!!

This place was a total hidden gem !! We had 1/2 our stay at one of those fancy over water bungalow resorts and the other at Fare O' Eden . In all honesty I would say enjoyed my stay better here because of how absolutely jaw dropping the views are at this place. Your entire backdrop looks like an exotic volcanic overflow , with clouds continuously sweeping over the mountains! You will never see anything like this anywhere else! So peaceful . Our favorite thing to do was have breakfast with these incredible views , and wow the hospitality and cleanliness was out of this world!! Our host made everything available at our fingertips.. even going out of her way to book and coordinate day trips for us, rent a scooter and gifted us with the warmest welcome via fresh tropical fruit , coconut drinks , lays , and tastiest bread ever! This place is so comfortable , with decor completely up to date but still whimsical Bora Bora. I would book this place a 100 x times if I could lol - in all my travels around the world , in over 20 countries , this little spot completely stole our hearts hands down !! By far the best service and place we could ask for !

The best place to stay in Bora Bora.

Fare O Eden was lovely, as was our host Sandra. She picked us up from the ferry terminal and greeted us with fresh flower leis. She was super friendly and gave us a great introductory tour to the island and our accommodations. Her home was immaculately clean and was stocked with everything one could possibly need for a stay, including some very good (and very strong) local coffee. My wife and I always try to leave a place as clean as we found it, but in this case I dont think we could have hoped to match Sandras attention to detail in preparing the place for our arrival. The location on Faanui Bay is stunning, with spectacular views of the mountains. The bicycles at the house were a nice bonus, as they allowed us to explore the area around Faanui Bay up to Vaitape. About 20 minutes ride from the house there is an excellent roulette, across the road from Bora Home Depot.

Just be aware that Sandras place in on the main island of Bora Bora and not in a resort area. You will be living with the locals, which means there is road noise, loud music playing, and smoke from cooking fires. For us this was not a negative; we enjoyed staying with the locals and the air conditioner in the bedroom blocks most of the road noise. However, this is something to consider if you are a very light sleeper.

We absolutely loved Fare OEden! The property was wonderful, very quiet and offering lots of privacy. The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating, Sandra even offered to drive us to Matira beach one day, which was so generous. They also have a scooter available for rental, making it very convenient to explore the island. Enjoying our coffee on the back patio with the incredible view of the mountains was a truly wonderful way to start our days on Bora Bora.
