The Essence Hotel Boutique by Don Paquito is a nice hotel close to the beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the jacuzzi and pool are enjoyable. The hamam is nice but only open for free for (Read More) 2 hours. The breakfast is great but repetitive. Free parking is available. Some rooms need redecorating, but the overall look is good. The restaurant chef is great and the food is fresh and delicious. The pool area is pristine and cozy. The staff is friendly and helpful. The gym is small but sufficient. The top floor bar could improve its staff and the option to exchange a welcome drink. The beach is just a 2-minute walk away.

Excellent restaurant staff, location of hotel and overall very enjoyable visit over the New Year

The pool was excellent and warmed for the winter months. Breakfast (and the new years' meal we had) was varied to both local and international tourists. Good selections of liquor at the bar, wine and beer were more limited. Great access to the beach and the Torremolinos promenade.

Some of the services were limited over the new year which is understandable. Lack of bathrobes and the spa not working were unfortunate, but didn't impact out overall enjoyment.

I liked the breakfast. A nice selection of fruit, yoghurt and plenty of options on the buffet. The 2 ladies waitressing in the dining room were very kind and friendly. The pool area is comfortable with lovely chairs for lying out. The room was nice but I was in the roadside and it can get very noisy. I have insomnia so not great sleep The hotel was spotlessly clean.. lovely ladies cleaning it..

The price for New Years Eve was extremely expensive. It was 200 for one night when the other nights were 130.. The hotel offered a new year eve dinner for 150 euros per person. That was extortionate. Needless to say we didn't book it. The only downside is the bar man. He was pretty rude. You can't get a drink at the bar after 11.00 pm.. pretty early ..

The young guy at the reception was super nice. Unfortunately, I do not remember the name. In answering the queries and general information, the staff was helpful.

The hotel does not look like a four star one. The standard of the hotel was barely two star. Bedding was not clean, there were hair in the bed. Washroom was dirty. I would say poor hygiene conditionl and overall worst four star hotel ever I booked. Air conditioner was not working. Even after mentioning the staff and multiple requests, it was not fixed. In fact, initially I got the answer that I am the only one who was complaining. I did not get the logic of the answer. I stayed five days in the room and they could not fix it or offer me alternative room. The shower liner were damaged. The bathroom lock was damaged. I hardly manage to unlock myself. Overall the experience was worst. Everyday, same breakfast and very limited option for vegetarians.

Superb little boutique hotel in a great position with the best staff you could ever hope for!

We cannot praise this hotel enough. The hotel would get a 10 rating from us anyway as it is a superb little boutique hotel in a great location with fantastic facilities and truly wonderful staff but I must say that when my wife suddenly became really quite ill one evening they were brilliant and so very helpful. There was a long wait for an ambulance so they helped me get her into the car to take her to hospital (where she remained for 2 days and nights). They really cared and were kind and considerate in every respect for our whole stay. The facilities and service at the hotel are top notch and the food is wonderful. The breakfast is superb with a vast choice and the buffet in the evening really is 1st class. The gorgeous pool and environment are really well set up. Didnt get to use the steam room but will next time. Thank you so much for looking after us so well and we will definitely be back soon for another stay!

Unfortunately we have to say we could have done without the loud hypnotic techno music round the pool - peace and quiet would be better suited to the wonderfully relaxing environment you have created :-)
