Superb

A short stay close to Monterey.

big room and location

I found a fingernail on the carpet. It was small but I stepped on it. But overall, the hotel felt very clean and comfortable.

The Hotel need secret shoppers and retraining of all staff, specially cleaning crew and front of the house.

Staff need more training in customer service

No sleep

Room size was good.

The room was so hot and the ac didn't work. It was cold outside and the room was at 75 tried to turn the temperature down but at 1am woken up sweating. Turned off the thermostat thinking that might help but made it worse. Called to have it looked at but by the time they got to the room to fix the problem we were needing to leave for a tournament. Hopefully they fixed the problem for the next guest. We only needed the room to sleep and shower in and unfortunately no sleep!

Breakfast was good.

They automatically charged us $15 per day for amenities fee where were forced to spend our money there instead of outside. If we dont buy anything from the hotel they keep the money. I didnt like that we didnt have a choice.

Very good

Species rooms with bedroom and living room with 2 televisions. Breakfast makes your own omelette station is a surprising edition and a relatively quick, with no wait time. Indoor pool was very helpful in this cold weather.

Pool water was a bit cloudy, with some smell coming from nearby broken restrooms. The last day, the pool was out of order, I wondered why. Did they wait until the end of the weekend? I still don't understand what's the point of those extra fees beyond the room costs.

Superb

Great, comfortable, clean, convenient hotel stay. Highly recommend!

Amenities were great, had everything we needed for our family. Good complimentary breakfast and drinks at the lounge. Great location only 10 min to Cannery Row and couple minutes to the beach. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

It would have been nice if the restaurant was open during the day for lunch instead of just dinner.
