Everything was absolutely above expectations - buffet breakfast and dinner were outstanding, the wellness/spa amenities very nice and the staff very helpful and accommodating.

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing views, spa and pools

Dubrovnik President Valamar Collection Hotel is a very beautiful hotel with all the amenities for a perfect stay. The lobby is beautiful, our room was beautiful and clean. The views from our room were stunning. The spa and gym were very nice. The pool outside looks amazing (we did not use the pool because the weather was cool). The various bars and lounge areas and the restaurants were all very nice. The food was delicious at the complementary breakfast.

A bit of a drive from old town, but there is a bus that takes you to/from the hotel to the main entrance of old town - the bus gets very crowded but that comes with tourist destinations.

A 5 star hotel and stunning location - unbeatable

Everything? The location was fantastic - quiet and peaceful and whenever you wanted to go into Dubrovnik old town public transport was right outside the door and very easy to use. The staff are amazing the food was beautiful (and very well priced) and the facilities were excellent - it was an absolute oasis, I would go back in a heartbeat and recommend to all my family and friends !

High-end beach resort option

The hotel has a unique location at the tip of the peninsula. It has a private beach, which is rare in Dubrovnik, and thus it can double as a beach destination. There is an outdoor pool, a large heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, 3 saunas, etc. Breakfast very good, although too heavily geared towards ham, eggs, and cheese in my opinion. Buffet dinner is excellent value. Rooms and beds are large. Wifi worked just fine. Helpful staff, easy to arrange things.

While it's convenient to reach the hotel using a bus, the number of restaurants within walking distance is limited. The hotel's lunch options could use improvement. The room's AC was weird, sometimes not doing much -- nothing could be dried!
