Seaview room & location excellent

The Seaview room was excellent, pool area looking on to the sea and mountains. The staff where so nice and helpful. We wish we had stayed longer here. Very clean, great location, short walk to the main strip. Very quite and peaceful at the same time.

All was good, our hut was a little old school, but that gave it Charm. They also have newer huts available.

Superb

Super friendly and helpful lady on reception, arranged our transfers and sorted our laundry. The room itself was beautiful, nice size and the most amazing view. Was a little bit dated in places, but you will spend all your time looking out of the window. There's a nice little swimming pool, and also a path to access the sea, but it's a bit rocky. Sad to see that the sea view restaurant was no longer open, but there's another restaurant at the entrance. We also hired motorbike from the guy attached to the hotel, who was really genuine and helpful. Had to leave 4000thb deposit, but had no issues with the bike, and he diddn't try to find fault with it like some places. Location is great, walkable from the pier, but they gave us a free lift back to the pier. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Thanks for a lovely stay :)

Pool villa is overpriced

We stayed at the pool villa: the room is very comfortable and spacious and the view is superb! The hotel is at walking distance from the famous beach with it's nice restaurant and lively bars. Overall we had a great stay but the price for this particular room is too high for Thai standards.

The water in the private small pool is quite cold. Choice of breakfast is very basic, coffee and juice is terrible, so next time I will book without breakfast. The sea front restaurant and bar were not open yet which was very disappointing. At departure we had to pay for the shuttle service to the pier because we left early morning.

The location for sunset is ideal. The rocky beach was good for swimming.

The bathroom could use a good scrubbing or maybe fresh paint... the aircon was stuck between 21C and 24C. The bedroom door doesn't close without a lock, very inconvenient when one person wants to stay in the room and the other wants to leave. Can't sleep in or go to bed early without having to get up to close or open the door.

Amazing accommodation in a brilliant location!

Pat and all the staff are absolutely wonderful - brilliant location, lovely restaurant and pool but most of all, beautiful accommodation. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and it was fab. Would definitely stay again, thanks guys!

Disappointing

Location Free transfer to the pier Nice stuff

The room was smelly and amazingly dirty. We had stains on the bedding, different types of bugs, the bathroom was from a horror movie, same as a separate shower room. We were not informed about there is a room renovation above us, which didn't allow us to relax in/near by our room. In the morning there is a sewage smell around the rooms and restaurant so good luck eating anything there for breakfast, we gave up when our plates arrived.

Ideal location to explore Koh Tao!

The location of this property was perfect, only a five minute drive away from the main pier. The pool and surrounding area was also lovely, with very nice sun loungers!

The room itself could have done with a bit of TLC, seemed a little dated.

Paradise on Ko Tao

The rooms and the pool were absolutely beautiful. The DD hut is by far the cutest hotel I have ever stayed in! The rooms were cleaned daily by the gorgeous staff members and the beds were really comfortable. The reception staff were so kind and really helped us out by booking a boat for us (that we thought was sold out!). The breakfast was also lovely and great to get included. We loved our stay in Dd hut, its a really special little hotel on a special little island. We also loved the hotel cat, we called him Oreo.

We liked everything!
