Very good

It was fine.

We liked the low floor and the location of the hotel. We also liked the laundry facilities.

we didn't like the breakfast options (you could only get 1 coffee or 1 juice, not both, for example). We didn't like that the gym wasn't available.

We enjoyed our stay but probably would not choose this hotel again for reasons listed above.

The location of the hotel was very good for all we needed. We were in Columbia to attend graduation at USC which was nearby. We also ate dinner at Di Vino Rosso which was nearby.

The renovations taking place were very loud and woke us up each morning WAY earlier than we had planned to get up. Additionally, in making the reservations, it looked like I had booked a room with a shower for handicap accessibility, but the front staff said that was not the case and there were no rooms available like that. Apparently, there was a room they had planned for me but it had not been cleaned, so that was not offered. I made the tub/shower situation work, and we bought some ear plugs on our second day to help with banging noises. My suggestion would be to list the renovation work on your website or give discounts to travelers for choosing to stay amidst the changes.

It's a roll of the dice. The walls are paper thin. Bring noise cancelling headphones.

The room was clean. The lobby was nice.

I specifically told the check in clerk that we don't want to be placed next to any all night party types. I even tipped him $20 to ensure this doesn't happen. Our room was #203. The people in room # 201 directly next to us didn't stop talking /laughing loudly until 4:30 am. I went direct to the front lobby desk at approx. 2am. The clerk on duty said they will call the troublesome room #201 and ask them to quiet it down. They never did until about 4:30 am. On check out we asked for a discount. The clerk said no. He offered a free breakfast which was a microwaved burrito that was worse than a fast food item. The breakfast was horrible.. I've had a better breakfast from a mobile truck. I had already paid for it so the clerk said it's too late. You already paid. No gratuity. The arm rest on the office chair in the room was broken. I almost fell over on it. The bathroom was tiny. Very unlikely we will ever stay there again. and will recommend others we know do the same.

The bed was comfortable. Good Darkening/privacy drapes. Decent water pressure. Clean but bathroom a bit dated.

It was a lot further from downtown life than we thought. The included in the price breakfast was very limited & prepared with very unhealthy tasting oils or imitation fat. No one made up the room over Thanksgiving night (& no one told us about that). Items used werent replenished (coffee, cups), when the room was made up. Trash bags were left draped over cans for guests to install. The price of the room jumped from $119 our first night to $529 our 4th night. THAT is really crazy & wrong.

Safe appearing area, good restaurants within walking distance.

Have to pay for coffee, prepaid breakfast was not a value, room was dark with no overhead lighting. Tv directed to a random wall, awkward when sitting in both couch and bed. Couch very uncomfortable for taller people.

I liked the comfortable beds, the bar and the location . Right near the Daela Moore Business School.

The room smelled very musty... I travel a lot and I am very easy going. Having said that , the smell was very strong from the moment you stepped in the room.

Superb

This is a great hotel, and a great location!

We loved the convenience of the location, especially if you are visiting the college, and want access to downtown dining. The Starbucks, and Bar on location were super convenient as well! The outdoor fireplace and TV sitting area were lovely. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious. There is plenty of room for parking. We had a great experience and would definitely stay again.

The pool area is a great touch, and we really looked forward to lounging by it, but all the lounge chairs were all ripped and broken. They should seriously take inventory and replace the broken chairs. Maybe consider resin lounges over the cloth ones that were all tattered.

The low entry to the garage. Guy had height sign down working on it when I came in and he motioned me in in my truck and the top Of my truck hit a fire sprinkler pipe. Messed it up and scrapped the paint off of a spot on the roof.
