A perfect place for rest at a country side.
A perfect location to just relax at a country side, far from a city noises. Calm and nice. Small village nearby with a few nice places to eat and small shops.
If you want to explore surroundings and up for actions you may find this place to be a bit too isolated. 20-30 minutes of driving by car (depending on how you drive) to get out from the mountains and some more to reach your point of interest. Then the same to get back. So, at least 1h of driving via curved narrow mountain roads every day if you want to explore. If you don't feel comfortable driving in the mountains, you may find this challenging and annoying.

A place to relax, away from the crowds but not far from beaches and Mlaga.
The traditionally built houses are in a quiet, dry and nice environment, surrounded by avocado and olive trees; our unit was fully equipped. One should stay longer than we did! We could enjoy the warm summer evenings/ nights at our private sitting space under the stars. The beaches from Torre del Mar are half an hour drive from el Cortijo, but we didnt go. The owner, Mario, was extremely helpful and friendly. What else can you ask for? A place to relax, read, lay at the swimming pool, and enjoy. In spring or autumn probably interesting to hike around The village, El Borge, is charming and very well-kept. The Caf-Bar Paco is excellent!

Friendly and helpful owners. Beautiful and very peaceful place in the Axarqua comarca, the gardens are very well-kept with a variety of fruit trees and different species of birds singing all day long. The kitchen is vers well-equipped. You will have everything you need and what you would find in your own. Highly recommended place if you would like to just relax and escape the hustle and bustle.

nice owner but not great location
the owener and his wife and their son were lovely people.very nice family.every thing spotless and clean.
the location is not good.the road is tribble to reach .the property located in the deep valley .room was so dark no sun and light.not good if you want to be close to the beach or facility.noting in the village near by.you should buy every thing you need before travel to the property from town.
