The Coral Beach Cottage in Murudeshwar is highly recommended for its great location within walking distance of the temple and beach. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, although they (Read More)don't have TVs. The sea facing shack nearby offers affordable and delicious seafood, with the crab ghee roast being a must-try. The shack manager is helpful and friendly. The owner is flexible with booking adjustments. However, it's advised not to visit during the monsoon season when the hotel restaurant is closed.

Excellent

It was perfect, clean, cozy and the owner is super helpful. He even allowed me to freshen up post scuba after my check out time, in the evening. Location is really good.

Toiletries were not provided, except for a soap. But thats not too much of a problem. Towels and blankets were provided

Pleasant stay

Was looking for pet friendly property and they allowed pets so it was main reason for me to opt for this option. The location for amazing with each front view and temple view was amazing from the property. They had shack in front of property which serves food. Since we were vegetarian, options were less however, taste was good.

All was good.

Disappointing

This place has got potential!

But currently a review will be extreme unfair, because the place is under construction (expansion) and you literally stay in the middle of the construction site and because of that, without any privacy. The room actucally has a very good size, as well as the bathroom, it just needs a small refrigerator. But generel it is clean and well equipped. The location is great, just opposite the beach and 7 minutes walk from the temple. There is no point of conatct on site and during our stay there was no fresh towels, no housekeeping and no refill of toiletpaper(!!!). But the host was very helpful and responded quickly. Because of the circumstances I can only rate it 4 stars: One for the room, one for the locatio, one for value for money and one for the host. But I'm sure, in the future, this will be a great place to book and it will minimum get 8 stars in each rateing!

Very good, comfortable stay close to the beach & temple

Brand new place with a very good standard of finish throughout. Super close to the beach - literally 20m away! Can see the the Murudeshwar temple and shiva statue from the bed! Melwin is very friendly and very responsive to any questions - he got some toilet paper within an hour of us asking for some. Very good Wifi & A/C

There was no bin in the bedroom The toilet seat was spring loaded down so it was constantly pressing on your back while you were sat down

Location right in front of the beach facing the sea..Melvin was helpful and served good fish in his beach shack. He also helps with scuba diving and arranges everything
