Guests enjoyed a pleasant stay at Chester House Hotel in November 2023. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar offered reasonably priced drinks. The on-site Italian restaurant served superb (Read More) food at a great price, leading guests to dine there both nights. The hotel's walkability to the village centre was convenient and easy. Overall, the hotel comes highly recommended for a satisfying experience.

Superb

Overall an excellent hotel in the perfect location and with great and friendly staff

The cleanliness and location of the hotel was excellent. That coupled with the professionalism and very friendly staff.

The bar in the hotel closed very early for a 'holiday' destination. Arrived back at the hotel at 9.45pm for a nightcap only to find the staff cashing up and the bar closed. A minor detail, but a detail all the same.

Beautiful location

The location was fantastic, in the centre of the town accessed by a main stone bridge. Hotel was spotlessly clean and a very comfortable room. The breakfast was stunning.

The lack of parking spaces. This was the only reason we booked this hotel, yet the car park was full. We had to pay for the public car park which was a ten minute walk. The hotel itself was also a bit on the cold side.

As above description ..

Hotel was clean and very welcoming, Angie made us very welcome when we arrived, and our room was ready when we arrived had plenty space for car parking which was good . Room was excellent spotlessly clean and very well maintained with tea,coffee , cookies ect was very nice We eat in Resturant on our first night was a little disappointed in the food we had as its an Italian restaurant on site , Wasnt that traditional but ok, We eat in an Italian close by the next night which was very traditional and excellent food .apart from that the hotel is beautifully decorated and d spotlessly clean staff are great breakfast fantastic great selection of cereals and hot coined breakfast with selection of eggs would return if staying in Burton again regards ..
