Guests at Charles Inn praised the friendly staff and cleanliness of the premier plus room which featured a Nespresso machine. While they wished for a bathtub, they enjoyed the central location within (Read More) walking distance to shops, city walls, and parking. The dinner and breakfast deal was convenient and the food was tasty with options for dietary restrictions. Nearby activities included exploring the city walls and Roman amphitheater, and the inn's proximity to the station and parking made it easily accessible.

Liverpool boys on tour

Myself and my son have just arrived home after our stay at the Charles Inn.We stayed here for the Liverpool vs Arsenal game.The accommodation is just a stones throw from the Anfield stadium so the location is a 10 out 10. On arrival at the Charles we were greeted by the hosts Chris n Aida they are two of the nicest i have ever met.At the door we were given a pair of slippers each to wear whilest at accommodation.We were made a lovely cup of tea with biscuits.We were shown our room which was very nice.In the morning we were made an omelet which was delicious.We ordered this the previous night.The room itself had 2 heaters which was totally adequate. The beds had electric blackets so we were toasty warm all night.Having stayed at Anfield many times the Charles Inn is easily one best accommodation we have stayed in.If you want to me treated like kings this is the accommodation for you.The hosts carnt do enough for you.Please dont take any notice of the bad reviews if you want 5 star accommodation pay 5 star prices its that simple.Value for money 10 out of 10. Location 10 out 10.

The location was very close to anfield

The host was fine to begin with but became very rude when I message them to say, the room was very cold and I could smell damp, there was a electric heater and electric blanket but was still very uncomfortable! I didn't say to them about this at the time as I was travelling alone & didn't feel comfortable confronting them as I wasn't sure what way they would react

Fantastic for a game day. Minutes from anfield and local pubs. Run by people who really care about ensuring you have a comfortable stay. Its perfectly priced.

Good for a short stay.

This was perfectly adequate for us and would be perfect if you were going to the football grounds. I mistakenly thought it was a pub because of the word Inn. It is a bed and breakfast and the hosts are eager to please and kind - and very good about returning things I left behind,

Feeling at home in Liverpool

The hosts were amazing, we really felt at home and we had a great time chatting to them. Very nice and "personalised" breakfast

Not in the centre but only 20 minutes by bus and easy to reach.

Avoid this B&B unless you really want to get to know the hosts

It was affordable considering Liverpool was hosting the Eurovision Song Contest and everything was booked or price gouged. The hosts were very friendly - almost to a fault.

The room and facilities were damp, cold, and in need of repairs. The hot water was unreliable in the shower. The hosts - while extremely friendly - hovered over us and engaged us in political conversations that we didnt want to be a part of.
