Very good

Comfortable stay.

Room was clean, beds were very comfortable. Cleaning staff were polite. Very central.

Parking: we went out for dinner with our car, when we came back, there was a car in our spot and all spots were taken. Location of the room was badRoom 30. It was noisy and loud voices outside. Also room upstairs was very noisy. Wish there was a microwave or toaster oven. WiFi was weak especially at night.

Charming base for town!

I loved the location and staff and local amenities. Really appreciated all the help!

I think the courtyard could be a little updated, just a few nice plants in pots and better furniture. Also, as the owner of an immaculately well behaved mid sized dog, I have to call out a few small dog owners. Boo to a) the neighbor who left their small scared dog alone & barking, contrary to hotel policy, and b) boo to "mommy" whose 2 uncollared and unleashed yappers an at a newly arrived couple, trying to nip at their heels. "Mommy" had zero recall, apologized but couldn't grab them for a stupid long beat. The disrespect meant her 2 animals were one guy's good grace away from a boot kick; "mommy" privilege and rudeness triply compounded given the clearly stated "leash your dogs!" policy.

Very poor

Not worth the money!

Comfortable bed

No heat. Could feel the cold from outside coming through the edge of the floor where it meets the walls. Room was very small and spartan and needs major remodeling. Parking was quite a distance from the room.

The in room Fireplace was great!

Location was great. Walking places was easy and if you took a car it was really a very short drive. For the money it was great.

Nice room and great location.

I couldn't get the room to heat up enough on the first night. The fireplace does not put out any heat. The heater they have in the room heats up the window above the heater well, but not the room itself.

This is, perhaps, the 25th time we have been your guest. Carmel Fireplace Inn has it all quaint charm, lovely surroundings and the best place to stay. We know 5 star places. We love your place!

We like it all even the small parking places its human scale
