Premium Hotel at a great price

The location was amazing, close to pick up stop for all trips and near the best restaurants and bars, by the harbour. Hotel is a high class hotel with excellent finish and style. It was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept it. Will be back with the kids next year and 100% stay here. Premium hotel, great location, great staff, and good value. Restaurant top notch too.

There was nothing at all that we didn't like. One of the best Hotel experiences we have had.

Nice property, lacking services. Not up to very pricey 4* standard.

Location of the hotel is perfect, with many landmarks, shopping, and restaurants nearby. The property has a nice scandi-industrial vibe. We arrived early in the morning and the staff were very accommodating and checked us in earlier than expected, so that we could rest after an overnight flight. Unfortunately, we were woken up by fire alarms caused by steam from the hot showers in some rooms. Our room was small and faced another building, but it was adequate.

Breakfast was just OK. It was a scaled-down version of the usual continental selection; hot options included dried up, unappetizing fried eggs, bacon, and potatoes. It was rather disappointing, especially since dinner was excellent. The restaurant is not open for lunch, there's no room service, and the minibar is not stocked with any snacks (it's not stocked at all), so you're very limited if you want to stay in. The only option is the lobby, where you can purchase a small selection of sandwiches, snacks, and beverages. I'd expect those amenities and services to be available when paying ~500/night.

Nice hotel, but dont bother to book a junior suite!

The hotel is centrally located. The public spaces are very cosy and beautifully decorated. The restaurant and breakfast are wonderful.

The junior suite was small and located in the first floor, next to the elevators. Bathroom was disproportionately big to the room size, and the view from the room was on the backyard dumpsters. When we came, windows were open and the heating was off (outside temperature-5C). It took us some hours to take off the winter coat!

Overall, a clean and comfortable stay.

Clean hotel with comfortable beds. Liked the little cosy corners in the hotel where one could sit and read, relax, chat etc. Centre of town and close to bus stop #6, convenient for airport pick-up and tour pick-ups.

The cheaper twin rooms were on the 2nd level and right next to the main street. Noisy on weekends especially as close to the bars. If you are a light sleeper, it would be a problem.

Very clean rooms, great location, comfy bed

The room was very clean and the bed was most comfortable. Kudos to the housekeeping team: Housekeeping was impeccable - the room and bathroom were spotless. Location was great, right in the city centre and a 3-minute walk to Bus Stop #6 for pick-ups to tours and to the airport. Many cosy spots in the lobby for guests to chill out. The in-house restaurant served good food and provided great service too. Would definitely stay here again when I return to Iceland.

Noise from the streets could be an issue for light sleepers. The mini fridge in the room was not very cold.
