Disappointing

Terrible room, noisy and smelly every morning from 7am. 3 star stay for a 5 star price.

Staff was excellent

Room was tiny and right above the kitchen, which meant that from 7am every morning the room was filled with the noise and smells from staff making breakfast. Nothing close to a 5 star stay, with management clearly just interested in milking the property for as much money as possible even if that means some rooms are clearly subpar. Very disappointing all round, do yourself a favour and book an actual hotel with better standards across the board.

Most beautiful home away from home

Absolutely everything!! The staff make this place exceptional. They're butlers (Faseeha, Kiki, Uthman, David, Kumi and Brian), their chefs, their drivers, housekeeping team, back office and The Handyman! It's located on the last row under the Table Mountain in a quiet residential area and has a trail at its door to walk the base of Table Mountain in the morning and evening. The property is designed whereby the back faces the Table Mountain and from the front you can see the town of Cape Town all the way down to the sea. We felt at home immediately on walking through the door. They offer a scrumptious breakfast and do not offer lunch or dinner. Though that said, they offer an exquisite high tea of sweet and savoury dishes and will order you Uber Eats, have it picked. They also have a free shuttle service should you wish to have dinner in any of the many restaurants around the property. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel special. We absolutely loved this boutique hotel and can't wait to visit it again.

It's difficult to find faults, but I guess the only thing would be the water pressure in the showers. Other than that, there's absolutely nothing to fault

We have been in South Africa for 6 weeks moving around so we have stayed in 10 different 5 star Hotels we can honestly say Camissa House was one of the best we were recommended by family who had stayed a few years ago and also love it, The staff were great in every way made our stay so welcoming and friendly, we loved the high tea it was such a nice touch food was delicious we also loved the breakfast the home made Granola was so good We will definitely be returning and telling our friends too also it was the last part of our stay in SA couldnt of chosen a nicer place see you next year Forgot to say what a good idea taking and picking up in the evening to many lovely restaurants

Magnificent luxury stay at the foot of Table Mountain

Great, modern and very well maintained accommodation, with an incredible view both of Table Mountain and of Cape Town itself and the ocean. The residence is located at the foot of Table Mountain, where you can ideally start your hike to the top. The residence is in a beautiful neighborhood on a hill, where you can really relax by the great pool. The friendly staff will make sure you have a great time. In the evening, the hotel staff make sure you can safely get to and from your restaurant.

Lovely hotel, will be better with back up power generation.

Great staff, lovely decor and design throughout the property.

During load shedding, we didnt have any power (no internet, no air conditioning etc.) and used a torch in the dark. This was the only hotel that we stayed in that didnt have its own back up power arrangements.
