Guests praised the beautiful location and views of Broome Park Hotel. The woodland lodge and dog-friendly lodges were spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The main Manor House has a gorgeous interior (Read More)and friendly staff. The Peacock restaurant served fabulous food and drinks. Service during a wedding was slow due to limited staff. Overall, guests enjoyed their stay, afternoon tea, and look forward to returning.

Superb

Very worthwhile stop between Folkestone and Canterbury on. rainy Sunday. Really worth the visit.

The whole history of the building and connection to Kitchener is fascinating.

Heating is quite problematic in such a large building. I could have been a little warmer.

Enjoyed overall, would stay again

Overall, Broome Park is lovely. We stayed in a double deluxe room. The room was huge and nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable and the view was gorgeous. The complimentary gin and tonics went down a treat. Breakfast was also good, and we enjoyed the bar area and had a game of snooker.

The bathroom was disappointing, very small and in need of an update. The wardrobe let the room down, it was very cheap looking. The room was also very cold, with insufficient heating for the size, and the windows let rain in during the night.

Exceptional

Faultless location and facilities.

The Lodge accommodation for our group was perfect as was the flexibility to dine in the hotel or order from pizza/ curry from the Restaurant.

There was nothing I did not like (this is the 3rd time we have stayed in one of the Lodges and every time the stay has been exceptional.

Felt ripped off

The property on a whole was amazing

When I booked even though I was on my own they only had the extra large rooms available so paid the price for this room, on checking in, they said they were going to change my room but it wasnt a downgrade. When I went to the room it was a lot smaller than a couple of my friends who also had to book these larger rooms.. I mentioned it to reception who said they couldnt do anything and Id have to send an email..then when going back to my room after the event that Id also booked, they offered to change my room to the the one I had paid for..this was half past midnight..so they take the money for the larger room then downgrade when you get there.

Overall a great stay but a few small fixes here and there to lodges would make such a difference

Location and grounds are amazing. Hotel beautiful. Lodges spacious and peaceful. Staff are fabulous all so friendly and willing to help.

We stayed in same lodge 9 months ago and on leaving reported a couple of small issues such as broken kitchen drawer. Disappointed to see still broken. Also pool/sauna currently broken and out of use which is such a shame

This is the first time we have left somewhere feeling really let down & disappointed. It was meant to be a relaxing

We liked the history attached to it, the grounds looked pretty, but it was too wet to go for walks. We liked the idea more than the actual place!

It was cold. We went between Christmas & new year. The storage heaters in the rooms werent very effective & the small heater provided didnt do much either. The heated towel rail in the bathroom was broken for the 2 nights we stayed. The swimming pool was closed which was the main reason. We booked in the first place! No goodwill gesture was offered for this disappointment either! The windows were mouldy & drafty. The kettle was full of lime scale & we had to ask reception to replace it. We werent able to have a bath as a note said only run a couple of inches due to the ancient plumbing.

Gym bit small but better than nothing. Swimming pool out of action. I received e mail 3 days before we stayed Unfortunate. Obviously these things happen bit annoying
