Pleasant

The location is convenient. Not too far of a walk to town or to the train station. The staff was very friendly and lovely and the atmosphere in the pub is cozy.

Since the rooms are in the pub, it was noisy until the pub closed. We could also hear the people that stayed above us. One of our windows was made out of a thin plastic (could be temporary)! This did not help keep the cold out or dim the noise from the airvents outside.

Very good

Good location and free parking

Location is near to the centre and also possible to walk to the beach. Parking is good. Room was a good size and bed comfortable.

Make sure you are happy to walk up stairs with bag, especially on second floor. Not keen on door entry system.

Very good

The staff were really helpful which was fantastic. Due to the weather our journey took much longer than anticipated and they were so helpful when we arrived which was really appreciated, plus great when I called to explain situation to. The room was clean and comfortable.

The only thing I would mention, is the windows in the room were very old and found ours didn't shut properly which when there was a huge storm on the first night wasn't ideal.

Good

I would really like to stay at this hotel again but the issue of no emergency contact at night will make me think twice.

Loverly room very comfy and good breakfast

The door codes were a problem the code I was given at checkin worked for the first day of my stay then for some reason it was changed which meant that it did not work when I returned to my room at 11pm on my second night. There was no one to contact, no emergency number to call which was very upsetting I am over 70 and on my own and was facing the prospect of sleeping on the floor in the corridor!!!. By pure chance I tried a slightly different number that worked by pure chance. I reported the problem in the morning and the person I spoke to was very apologetic but it still remains a worry that there is no one on site once the pub and restaurant are closed. I think this is a real health and safety issue with no one to contact inn an emergency.

Delicious breakfast, both continental and cooked with plenty of choice on the menu, something for everyone! Lovely staff, very helpful, friendly service :)
