The Best Western Zachary Inn is a smaller hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. Although there was a slight odd smell in the bathroom, the overall stay was great. The rooms are equipped with a f (Read More)ridge and microwave, and the hotel provided a quiet atmosphere for a 2-night family event stay. The pool, though small, was sufficient, and breakfast was enjoyed early in the morning.

Hotel overbooked and failed to keep our nonrefundable room

The property had overbooked. When we arrived, close to midnight, which we had announced, we were at first given a key to a room that had already a guest. Big embarrassment when we woke them up. No other rooms available. It took an hour to get us checked into a hotel across the street under the same ownership. Ok, it was a big LSU game night in Baton Rouge, but this should not have happened.

Poor

Clean facility, friendly staff but uncomfortable accommodations.

Convenient location for our destination and pretty good free breakfast.

AC unit was very noisy and fluctuated temp all night. Unsupervised teens were bumping against thin walls late at night. Metal rack under mattress protruded from foot of bed causing us to bump our knees walking around bed.

Disappointing

Nice people, disappointing hotel

Check-in and Check-out process was very smooth and the people working were friendly enough.

When arriving in our room, it smelled strongly of mildew and the floors felt strangely moist. We toughed it out for the 1 night but it was not pleasant. In the morning, the area in which the breakfast was served was also incredibly small; it can maybe contain 16 comfortably, 20 if you're jammed in, which didn't seem sufficient based on our experience.

Decent for the price

The staff was great. Very welcoming.

The tub leaked, the fan in the bathroom didnt work, the AC set at the lowest temperature and the room never got cold. Felt humid and sticky in the room.

Very nice stay !! Everything was perfect! Very friendly staff .. Breakfast was nice. Would definitely stay again.

Orange juice had no flavor very watered down with no flavor . Could have just been a machine glitch!! Other than that it was delicious!! Breakfast attendant was very sweet and friendly!!!

The fish tank

The mattress was uncomfortable and the bed frame stuck out about a foot past the mattress. It also set in nothing but the bed frame itself. The curtains wouldnt close all the way causing sunlight to enter while youre trying to sleep. There was a dip in the floor by the bed that could probably hurt someone. The property is not well maintained. Especially the room we were in. We were in the top floor and all night and during early morning it sounded like someone stomping nonstop.
