The Best Western Plus Monterey Inn is praised for its friendly and professional staff, clean and well-designed rooms, and comfortable beds. Guests are pleasantly surprised by the delicious and varied (Read More) breakfast options, as well as the complimentary 24-hour coffee machine in the lobby. The hotel's location is convenient, with walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf and other attractions. While there was an issue with room cleaning, guests still enjoyed their stay and would recommend the hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, and parking is available. The hotel is a short distance from the aquarium and cannery row.

Location

No fitness center. Poor nose insulation with rooms above. Poorly organized breakfast and the room was way too small.

Highly recommend this hotel!

Great location, free breakfast and parking! Beautiful grounds and holiday decorations. Super friendly staff and very clean. Comfortable bed and large room.

The shower was a bit small.

Relaxing and close to Monterey town.

Friendliness and helpfulness of front desk staff. Room was well appointed and underground garage parking was a big plus!

Great time!

Tony, upon check in , was very helpful giving us several tips re Monterey, Carmel, Big Sur incl restos, directions, sights which we used (resto - Old Grotto and Rosines), good breakfast room, choice and staff. Location was a few minute walk to the center\Munras and Fisherman's Wharf.

A gym would have been nice, but it was a known factor that there was none.

Superb

We used Monterey as a "base" to explore the Highway No. 1 as we couldn't drive all along because of the blockage of the road. So we stayed here for two nights and found the hotel to be very nice and welcoming, perfect spot to start the journey along the coast. We didn't visit any attractions in Monterey itself as the fantastic vistas along the coast were the thing we wanted to see.

The breakfast was complimentary. As a European that's the only positive thing I can write about American hotel breakfasts. That's not the hotel's fault though, that's a general thing. But since when did they start using plastic plates and cutlery only?
