Superb

Friendly and warm atmosphere, absolutely spotless! Quiet even though there was a new years party going on downstairs! Staff went above and beyond tonaccomdate us

The starter ordered was cold on arrival and the fire alarm went off in error at 8.30am waking us up but that wasn't a big deal

Really nice sea front hotel and great views from room

the room was very spacious and had loads of space Staff were very polite The Location is realy close to centre of town

there were some work being done on the staircase but had no impact on the stay

Towel rail wasn't working. Window rattled in the wind and housekeeping kept leaving us one of each towels, not great when there were two of us

The charging station for Oral B toothbrushes in the bathroom was fantastic.

The parking is on the street was not easy and needed to be paided in advance. The elevator is very small and the way to the room was narrow and long through many doors. Not easy with luggage.

Exceptional

We had the new refurbished rooms and they were very clean and comfortable. Good room facilities such as fridge, big TV, toiletries and lovely view over the gardens. Still a little bit of refurbishment going on, but it was no bother for us. The old quirky building still retains its charm. Tasty breakfast. Great location for the coastal path and only a short walk into town.

Breakfast stops at 0930 during the week, which is a little early and we almost missed it.
