The host was very polite and friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel is perfectly located, about a 15 min walk to the high street shops.

I like the no frills aspect it's clean comfortable and does the job l have stayed here several times now and will be returning again

It's a shame there isn't any real ale pubs nearby but you can't have it all can you there are plenty of them down the Westgate street

Friendly, comfortable, cosy, helpful, 2nd time staying and will be again

Friendly, helpful staff. Good facilities, clean, comfortable. Cafe for breakfast, facilities for cooking own food, just a microwave but thats enough, both in room cos booked deluxe, but also in communal area.

Micro fridge for milk would be all i would add to room. Everything else needed was there.

Clean hotel very friendly

Staff very nice and the cafe attached to the hotel was a big bonus. Lovely breakfast. 20 mins walk in to the centre was a bonus too.

Area has really suffered in recent years from lack of attention and investment. Newcastle City Council should be ashamed.

No tea and coffee facilities in room. Although there was a kitchen with free beverages.

Comfy, clean, budget stay

It was my third visit to Bentleys and it's always my go to in Newcastle. Good value, really comfy clean room, free parking, great staff. The availability of a fridge is great too when travelling for work!

My only minor feedback is that the room I stayed in this time had a window over the door so it was quite light while I was sleeping and took a while to drift off, and the wifi didn't seem to quite reach to my room. Otherwise great!
