Very bad. First of all, it costs an extra 30 pounds to change the time. There was no explanation when placing the order.

Pleasant

Clean and warm. Good location with only 10 minutes walk to the city centre. Private parking, although costing 5 GBP/day.

The room was way to small for the price. There was not even enough space to open our suitcase, except for placing it on the bed. The double bed was too small. The room was suitable as a single room. Breakfast, a part from the cooked breakfast, was a bit too basic.

Location

Inspite of space available in the bathroom the shower area was too cramped. Breakfast area too was a bit crowded. Plus, bfast was not a buffet and was a set menu which means there was some delay and wastage of food too.

Fantastic location with lovely friendly staff who were so helpful. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. Very dog friendly and our family room was huge:)

Very nice stay for 2 nights we enjoyed the walk in to York it took about 10-15 mins, we would stay at this hotel again,

Exceptional

We (3 adults) were in the suite which was really lovely. Plenty of space including a very comfortable sofa bed. Large bathroom with bath which was much appreciated. Staff very pleasant and friendly. I couldn't find a hairdryer in the room so I rang down to reception and one was delivered in less than 5 minutes. Very good breakfast too.

If I were really to nit pick it would be just to say that at breakfast it would have been nice to have more of a choice of jams as I didn't like the two that were available and also some chocolate spread (Nutella) would have been appreciated. Also, second round of toast came to late to the table and we'd already finished our cooked breakfasts.

Very nice Hotel I would recommend to family, friends.

1st time at this hotel, travelled with my wife, very nice clean warm room, very spacious with tea coffee, also a coffee machine with pods, large bathroom, nice and cosy when the heating turned on, nice and quiet hotel didnt hear any noise from adjacent rooms etc.drove around York in our car due to heavy rain but looked quite close to the city for walking.

Was messaged on arrival day to say car parking was available from 3p.m around the back, so parked up.ok, went into reception to be told I needed to pay 5 per/day charge.
