Overall, guests enjoyed their stay at Barton Manor Hotel & Spa. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, although some found the sofa bed uncomfortable. The service was friendly but a bit slo (Read More)w, and the prices for drinks were expensive. The hotel is popular for weddings, with a well-organized wedding fair. The spa and pool area were clean, the breakfast had lots of choice, and the staff were helpful and polite. Some minor issues with amenities like the coffee machine leaking water were quickly resolved by reception.

The restaurant is very pleasant. Nicely decorated in the downstairs areas.

Our bedroom was small and certainly not deluxe (175 for 1 night B&B, for a hotel in Preston?)

Excellent venue for a family gathering. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Decorations very festive

Room very comfortable and warm. Decor was very nice. Breakfast and dinner was lovely. Hotel had lovely Christmas decorations. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Coconut panna cotta was rubbery. Pineapple salsa was nice.

My daughter and I had booked the two night stay for which included the Christmas lunch. The lunch was booked for 2.30pm but two days before I had an e mail to say that the lunch time had been changed to 3.0pm and that the table plan had been finalised for this time. We arrived for lunch and were told to go back into the lounge and they would call us when the table was ready. There was no room in the lounge so we returned to the restaurant to have a drink. We were eventually taken to our table at 3.30pm a table that had been empty since we arrived and was set for the next customers. We weren't offered the canapes that were offered as part of the lunch we had to ask for Christmas crackers, we were given a white roll no offer of a brown roll until we asked, there were Christmas hats on every other table but were not given any. The waiter poured the white wine without asking one of us to taste it. All in all very poor customer service, the only plus was that the food was good or else I would have refused to pay for the lunch.
