TOP NOTCH EXPERIENCE

I was recommended to visit Avocado cottages by an You Tube blogger friend of mine and I loved this Calm and eye pleasent place in between coffee land. Location: Perfectly located stay nice garden and Coffee estate view from Top. Amenities provided was excellent and Privacy was great (Five Star). Awesome food!! Especially local cuisine. Staffs were friendly. We troubled them with extended hours of fire camp, which they didn't mind. Tourist attractions like Nisargadhama, Dubare, Chicklihole Dam, Backwater are just a few miles away from the place of stay. Would highly recommend this place and definitely want to come back. Not to forget our host Mr.Shetty was very helpful and multi language speaker.

Location very bad Canteen / Breakfast - very poor, no separate cook. the cleaning people are preparing food, unhygienic. Quantity also very less Tea/ Coffee tastes very bad, Room cleaning facility Not there

Best cottage for family at kodugu (Coorg)

The best cottage Ive ever been privileged enough to stay with my family.Situated in middle of coffee plantation and jackfruit trees ..only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms, and high quality service. Staff were so friendly, Mr.Preetham, Owner of the cottage so caring and his hospitality towards customers makes us feel at home. Food was also good. Best for family who wants to get off from daily busy schedules and makes themselves refresh.. I highly recommend this cottage for family.

Perfect for relaxing

Property is new and clean and it is located in a very peaceful place. If your purpose is just relaxing go for it. Reaching this property is easy and road is good. Going for a morning walk till main road and bonfire in the evening are the best things you can do..

If your purpose is sightseeing and expecting some activity for kids you may have to think twice. As I was first time visitor and my purpose was to visit places, choosing this property made me commute a lot. Places like Abby Falls, Mandalpatti and Tala Kaveri are located after Madikeri and staying here made me drive back an forth. Food was ok ok with very few options and I was asked to inform the cook well in advance as to what I require.

Very nice stay, would come back again

The property looks new and well maintained. Room and toilet was very clean. The location is little away from the main highway but this means one is undisturbed. The property has lot of greenery and plants and has space for parking. Food is cooked by an in-house chef, food is basic and tastes homely. The caretakers are very friendly and always available for any help. Place is pet friendly.

Food options are limited. Mobile network is patchy but they provide you with wifi hotspot when requested. If you do not have your own vehicle, moving around can be a challenge.

its a quaint b&b which has all the basic trappings right its a beautiful place to get away from the maddening crowds

they should inform the customers that they charge for water beyond 2 bottles a day. As its an out of way place our assumption was there is no charge for additional bottled water which when we got the final bill, we realised. its not about the money its just clarity of the upcharge
