Relaxing, comfortable, friendly accommodation in excellent part of the city.

In a fantastic, safe location. Lovely and helpful staff, beautifully done out boat which was very nicely done out. Comfortable bed.

Slightly pricey for one night, but I still plan to return for longer next year! Also the electric did trip a couple of times but wasnt a huge problem.

It didnt show you specifically what room you were staying in when you booked, all of the properties we lovely but we got the lower spec of all of them judging by the photos

Great option for a quick trip outside your routine

The repurposed ships were very comfortable, spacious and welcoming. We loved the sustainable mindset, the change of scenery and the great cafe onsite.

The heaters weren't as efficient as we would've loved to in order to feel really cosy.

Get a taste of the real Dutch lifestyle: )

The houseboat was lovely and there were enough mod cons ( hot water, comfy beds, coffee machine, fridge, heaters and privacy ) to keep guests happy. Asile Flottant is set within a friendly creative community with decent cafes and restaurants nearby. Welcoming and helpful hosts too. Amsterdam Centraal is a 25 min walk away via a 2 min free ferry ride, or 6 mins by bike : ). Our family of 4 had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Slightly tired exterior and interior in places looking different to pics ( we stayed in UK85 boat) and could do with refurbishment. However, this did not massively detract from the overall experience.

Lovely Experience

Fantastic experience staying on a boat, easy to get into central Amsterdam and train station. Fantastic restaurant just as you turn into the entrance road.

Mosquitoes .... !!!! The entrance to the boat mooring was very untidy
