Ascot House was praised for its well-equipped single rooms and convenient location near the convention centre and town. Despite the room being small, guests found it perfectly laid out with necessary (Read More) amenities. The room did get warm, but a provided fan helped. The quality of the food at the hotel was impressive, with a recommendation for the knickerbocker glory dessert. The small car park and proximity to the train station were also appreciated.

Super stay at Ascot House.

Beautiful location...short walk into town. The property has been nicely kept in its original condition. Spotlessly clean throughout. Very courteous and helpful staff. We will recommend it and we will return in the summer.

Perfect getaway!

All just what we wanted and only short walk to town centre. Perfect getaway.

Car parking would be a little tight maybe with a lot more guests but fine during our stay

Very good

This is a Lovely, very pretty hotel and we enjoyed a very comfortable stay.

The location was great, very close to the town centre. The room was very comfortable and the bed was huge, Yorkshire breakfast was really good.

The shower could be improved and the only downside on the breakfast was the sausages could be better, they lacked flavour.

Helpful staff, comfortable room, lovely breakfast and a short walk to the city centre.

Lovely stay and staff helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Able to park the car before check in and also leave it in the car park the following day after check out which was appreciated. Lovely breakfast.

The breakfast was lovely and a good choice but it would have been nice to have been asked if we wanted to have our toast after our cooked breakfast as it was cold by the time we got to eat it. Also strawberry or raspberry jam would have been good rather than just marmalade.
