What I think they should do better, or quit altogether are the a la carte restaurants, they are not up to level at all, especially compared to the buffet restaurant. In my opinion either make the a la carte restaurants better or quit them and put that effort in the buffet restaurant (which is already very good I have to mention) there is another Arum hotel nearby, Arum Hemera, we actually went there this week (cheating) to have some cocktails, they are way better prepared there (more attention to details in the cocktail). Maybe the manager should have a visit there and compare. (I am not judging the service, I am talking about the knowledge of preparing the cocktails) So I will never say this is a bad hotel, it is a really GREAT hotel, love the place. BUT these two things they should work on in my opinion, after beeing here two times those are the things, I can have a opinion in.

We chose this hotel due to the high score on booking but we came back disappointed. As for the downsides: The Beach: The beach was a letdown. It had rocks in the water, making it impossible to enter. And I don't mean pebbles for which we came prepared with water shoes, I mean really big pieces of rock, not visible from the water surface. While there was a pier for entry, the water there was rough with strong waves, so I didn't dare go in with my daughter. So we only visited the beach in the first day and that was it. Staff: The staff's English proficiency was extremely poor. Communicating with them was a challenge, from reception to restaurants. Understanding each other was a struggle. Overall, maybe with a few exceptions, the staff seemed visibly unhappy and not properly trained. Genuine smiles were rare, and it felt like they were overwhelmed rather than being welcoming. Also, during a late dinner at the main restaurant, one of the waiters displayed rude behavior. He practically slammed the cutlery onto the table, creating an unpleasant dining experience, it was visible that we were bothering him. One day, we visited the hotel bar and they were lacking orange juice to prepare a cocktail. And the bartender, instead of procuring some, just advised us to order something else that doesn't contain orange juice. Entertainment: There was almost no entertainment, especially for kids older than 2-3 years. While a kids club was present, it was primarily geared towards toddlers, leaving older children with very little to engage in. The 8-11 years club had some activities but these weren't advertised so we ended up missing a lot of them. However, my 10 year old labeled the kids club as boring. Noise Levels: If you are dreaming of getting some rest, forget it. The hotel is extremely noisy. From 9 PM to 11:15 PM, there's a live show at the pool bar, and you can't sleep because the music is blaring (even with windows closed).
