Never enough coffee in the room and the coffee maker was a cheap version. Had one bad dinner; nice piece of sea bass that was over cooked.

Amazing stay, it really is one of the best locations with true Big Sur vibes and views

The premises are amazing, the true star of the stay. Amidst a beautiful forest with giant trees. The walks around the camping grounds and to the restaurant are beautiful. Just take the car out of the driveway and your nearby all the main sights of Big Sur, Pfeiffer beach, Big Sur Bakery, hiking spots etc.

Small note: The restaurant is amazing but if you bring your dog you can't really sit near the border of the terrace, which are the most beautiful spots. Especially in the morning overlooking the clouds down near the sea. They have a dedicated seating area for people with dogs.

Incredible location

Absolutely stunning property. Surrounded by redwoods with incredible views of the coast. Very peaceful. The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. Close to the best hikes in Big Sur.

The all inclusive food was very limited for vegetarians. The staff did try to make accommodations for us, but if youre there for more than a day or two, youll be repeating everything. We ended up buying food off site, which, given the cost of the stay here, was nuts.

Very relaxing time in the redwoods by the Pacific Ocean.

Amazing breakfasts and meals. Location fantastic! Literally 10 minutes from the (unmarked) turn off to Pfeiffer Beach (no signs by the road, but definitely a must see!) and minutes from other state parks with waterfalls. I suggest getting a forest view room looking out over redwoods. The ocean view rooms are more expensive, but the coast/ocean fog makes the ocean views a bit less than vivid. The large double hammocks on the very private room decks are very comfortable! Stargazing from the infinity hot tub by one of the pools was pretty fantastic too. Be aware - California State Parks there do NOT allow dogs (though we saw what might have been service? dogs in some parks). Pfeiffer Beach does allow dogs.
