The Wyndham Grand Athens is a well-located hotel with tourist activities nearby. The rooftop bar offers a fantastic view of the Acropolis. Rooms are well-organized and clean, with comfortable beds. T (Read More)he breakfast buffet at the top floor provides a delicious meal with a stunning view. The staff are professional, polite, and helpful. However, the neighborhood is decaying and not safe for walking. Overall, the hotel is recommended as a base for sightseeing. The only downside is the closed swimming pool. The rooftop bar, restaurant, and food receive high praise.

Exceptional

I'd book again in a heartbeat

The room was spacious and welcoming and the view was incredible. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and all my expectations were exceeded.

If you hit the hotel at from the wrong angle it's a little confusing how to get in but otherwise flawless.

Very good

Stayed in 2 blocks with a shorter trip away in the middle. The acropolis view rooms were fabulous, the city view rooms seemed a bit dated and were noisy although on the top floors

Hotel was nice, well equiped, and staff was really really nice specially waitresses during the breakfast.

1.We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights including breakfast, every day was breakfast completly the same. COMPLETLY without any change at all. 2. Location is a bit jungel

Location. The area is bad. Things in the hotel are not like what it appears in pictures. Like Gym, sauna. No free sauna.

The room and bathroom were spacious. It also came with an iron which was useful. The bed was also comfortable

I saw a few baby insects that looked like baby roaches, which were nasty. The bathroom had a toilet scent that wasn't good

Superb

Seagulls beat Athens 1-0!!!

Great location for the metro, staff friendly and helpful, room was nice size, comfy bed and great size bathroom and shower. Great rooftop bar as well with amazing views

If you turn right outside the property bit of a dodgy area but fine during the day. Its close enough to the metro so that helped.
