Wanted a few nights away, and the location and guest house exceeded my expectations

Location was great. Absolutely loved the view from the room. The continental breakfast served to the room was lovely and really nice quality

Personal preference obviously but the duvet was a touch heavy for my taste(Im pretty warm at night), and the mattress felt a little too soft for me also. Didnt really affect my stay though, so please dont feel that this is a criticism!

Lovely large house with sea view in a quiet location with private on site parking. Our room was well furnished and we appreciated the facilities overall incl coffee & tea making items etc. Close enough to walk into town to eat, weather permitting.

Although entry directions were sent we did not feel we could call fir assistance to transport all our luggage two floors up in a very tall building. Currently less mobile we struggled 30 mins to lug our bags upstairs. We went out to supper and struggled to unlock the door as no light in the porch. Although the text said the owners lived on site we did not meet them unless it was the young man who hurriedly delivered a breakfast tray each morning. To be fair he did arrive at the time requested to help us down with our luggage and the young woman who was cleaning was also very helpful. The continental breakfast was incredibly disappointing. Coffee on first day was fine but almost un drinkable next morning. Tired stale pancakes and battered croissants with plastic cartons of cheap jam did not appeal either. Thankfully there was yogurt and fresh fruit to compensate. The lighting in the high ceiling room did not allow for comfortable night reading.

Good location, clean room and bathroom. Nice touch with offering sherry and biscuits

If you are looking for a personal touch then this may not be for you. Its good for those who need a quick in and out stay option with minimal interaction. Breakfast could have been better but again, without a breakfast area and with it being delivered to your room, a cold breakfast is all that can be provided.

Great location, easy walk to downtown and ferry terminal. Beautiful waterfront location. Delicious breakfast provided!

Pillows and bed were a little hard for my taste, but my partner thought they were fine.

Room was very large and quite lovable. View out of window of this beautiful structure were awesome.

Breakfast was basic and as stated. Although convenient in the room, a little more contact with other residents would have been enjoyable. Also talking with hosts would have been more meaningful.
