Only 1 staff who is the manager, gardener, security person all-in-one. No bathroom supplies provided. Nobody at the counter as the staff is the only one. Only 9 rooms in all. We paid a lot for 200 USD/night rate. No regular cleaning done

Peaceful and rustic

Fantastic place to stay. Very quiet and natural environmentright on the river with plenty of chairs and places to relax. Our cabin had a massive downstairs table outside which was great to sit at in the evening with food we had ordered. Good location, can easily get a tuk tuk to take you where there are bars/restaurants close by. Only 5-10 min drive to the bridge over the river kwai.

The beds were very hard and not good for how I sleep but thats more personal preferencesome ppl prefer harder beds

Disappointing

The location to the river was good, but nothing else around this particular area, even nearby water park was closed, so if you're looking for very quiet, very low-key accommodation, this is it. Was possible to walk to bars and restaurants if you're up for it. Room was reasonably clean and a good size, bed reasonably comfortable. Staff were friendly but communication a little difficult.

The hotel and grounds needed a big dose of tlc, quite dilapidated and no facilities. I believe it was just our party of 4 and 1 other guest staying, so extremely quiet if that's what you're looking for, no bar, no day or evening restaurant. They serve breakfast from 7, (which we had paid for) we asked if we could possibly have it earlier as train back to Bankok leaves at 7.15 but would only do it at 6.45 which wouldn't give us enough time to catch our train. Bathroom had mould and mildew, shower was poor, only 1 bath towel each provided, no hand towel or hand-wash, shower gel dispenser fell off the wall when trying to use it and we had no bin. Staff did offer tuk-tuk service but we did think it was going to break down on us on way into town.

no info about swimming pool is under renovation before booking. Loud music from the restaurants across the river but bearable. Need to fix male toilet lighting near breakfast area.

Right on the River Kwai with an amazing host

Lovely location right on the river Kwai. Only 700 metre walk to bars and restaurants. Miss Nattie was a fantastic host, always offering suggestions of things to do and willing to help in any way. She just really loves her job and meeting people. Thank you Miss Nattie
