Superb

Awesome view, cozy comfortable, and welcoming.

We loved the view, the coziness, the fireplace, the owner, that the room was stocked with the necessities to feel like home, glasses, silverware, plates, etc. We definitely will go for a return visit.

The bed was high quality mattress, but it was a little soft for us. Though I have a spinal injury and need a very firm bed. In the winter our bathroom was on the cold side.

The hosts put A LOT of care in the rooms. Lots of nice details, like the way towels are folded. The room and bathroom were spotless. The bed is very comfortable. And the staff was very friendly.

Disappointing

We wont be back!

No breakfast. The view was outstanding.

The rating for this motel was 4.6. It was disappointing to have to climb 20+ steep outdoor steps to get to our room. Good thing we only had a couple smaller bags, considering we are 81 and 78. A sliding patio door was our entry and only door. The bathroom was very small, and no sink in it. Just room for the harvest gold tub/shower and the stool. We were supposed to have a queen bed, but I would say it was a double bed. The mattress was awful. There was a strong-smelling air freshener in the room, which we put it in a drawer as it was bothering us.

Very good

The ocean and beach is a great way to calm down your nervous system and simply enjoy being.

Unbelievably beautiful view of the ocean and birds. This is a well cared for older property. The room is small, but it had everything we needed to be comfortable. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The bed was comfortable, their was plenty of hot water and we could control the heat.

This is a well kept, older motel. The room is small. The shower is small.

A great place to stay!

The location was fantastic. A little bit off the main street with a wonderful view of the beach, while still very close to shops and restaurants. We liked staying in a family owned place, and owner and staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we liked watching the wildlife enjoy the inlet right in front of us: elk, pelicans, ducks, gulls, and an eagle stayed for a while too.

Great location - enjoyed our stay!

Great location - we had our little wing (3 rooms) all to ourselves so it was very quiet. Lovely view from the shared terrace and the window near the dining table (the other 2 rooms have better views from inside the room). Room had everything we needed and our interactions with staff and owner were all good. Perfect place for a last-minute fall night in Cannon Beach. We'd be happy to come back.

Bed was quite soft, so not the best night's sleep, but fine. It would be great to have some place to put dirty dishes since they are provided and there's a microwave in the room, but no way to clean them. Even a plastic tub would work!
