Wayanad Mace Mansion

I loved the place! The property is beautiful and well maintained with nice indoor and outdoor areas and a pool. They also had different fitness equipment, table tennis and karoom game upstairs. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We came on weekdays and were the only people there, so we got full attention. We were told the chef was new, but he was really good and we enjoyed his food a lot. Had dinner at the hotel every day. They went out of their way to prepare the things we asked for including continental breakfast for me, as I am not a big fan of the Indian breakfast. The surroundings are beautiful and soooo peaceful. The only noise would be the birds chirping and the zikades in the night. The property lays between coffee and banana trees with a beautiful view on rice patties and a small village in the distance. Although the place is a bit remote from cities, it has a very convenient location for exploring Wayanad. Most of the good sites are within an hours drive from the resort. The hotel gives very good value for money, but be aware that it is only a 4-star resort, and as such, there are minor inconveniences such as the roomservice forgetting to leave the right number of towels, but they will give you extra the moment you ask for it. I think the value is really good for the price and would highly recommend the place for a stay in Wayanad!

At booking.com it said that the properly was reveiving payment by several different card types, but when we wanted to pay, this was not the case, and it gave us quite a lot of trouble as we did not have that much cash and we can not use googlepay, which was available. If we had know, we would have taken out cash during the day trip we went on, so please correct that information or make sure to inform future guests. Another point you should inform your guests about is the fact that the lock on the bathroom door locks from both inside and outside. My husband ended up locking me inside the bathroom by accident. Luckily, he had not left the room yet and came to my rescue, but if he had already left the room, I would have been in trouble.

Whenever we are planning to visit Kerala 2 things always come to our mind. The first one is greenery with a tea garden or a forest with wildlife or a river, the second one is beaches or river boathouses. This is our first Kerala trip and we decided with the 1st option we have booked our resort in Wayanad Mace mansion. When we chose this place the review was not much good because of the less contribution towards the resort. We reached around 7 o'clock in the evening and at that time drizzling was there. When people talk about first eyesight love the same thing happened with us at the resort. here I'll mention pointwise how's the resort thing. 1. Resort has its own garden with jungle fruit which means fresh oxygen. ***** 2. It has a large area for kids to play around the resort and for cycling *** 3. light and design of the resort were awesome ***** 4. Kitchen staff and other staff behavior were humble. ***** 5. Room cleaning and maintenance ***** 6. Room service ***** 7. Swimming pool cleaning **** 8. Breakfast and Dinner **** 9. locating the resort in the google map **** 10. always download the offline map while going to the resort there you might face the network issue anyway once you reach the resort will provide wifi. 11. the resort is affordable **** 12. they didn't ask for the bottle water charge and other small stuff. 13. comfortable for the couple and familiar for the family. We know many options and good resorts are available in Wayanad but once we visited here we got to know that we are in one of the best resorts and we had a good experience here. Please go through the pictures for a better review. Note: the people who stay nearby, they are facing issues with respect to drinking alcohol as it was very costly and far from the resort. in Wayanad only you can get beers that to nearby 5 KM. so who is actually looking for the drinks go to Kalpetti market it's 22 km from the resort.
