Cosy cottage in the Cotswolds

Walnut Cottage is a stunning, luxury, cosy cottage centrally located in Moreton in Marsh. We loved the log fire, lovely decor, furnishings, comfy beds and courtyard garden. Perfect for a couple or small family - note the staircase is steep and narrow.

A few fluffy blankets for the lounge (even with the fire/heating it was still quite cold), the cottage also lacked a good chopping board (standard size) as we cooked both evenings so had to use a tiny one! Also, the smoke alarm battery alarm went off all night on our second night outside the bedrooms - this kept us all awake as we weren't able to disable/disconnect which was frustrating.

Fantastic property with professional friendly service we will definitely be visiting again

The property was spacious well kept and the team super helpful with great communication before and during our stay. The little touches like local produce set out for us on arrival, logs piled by the fire, a fully stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need and the high chair and cot being set up ready for our infant.

Nothing bad to say we would definitely book again

A peaceful stay in a well connected part of the Cotswolds.

Lovely and quaint cottage which had been renovated really nicely. Lots of interesting original features, complemented by some nice modern touches. We loved the open fire, exposed beams and overall cosy vibe.

When we arrived the radiators were off so it was quite cold. The stairs, as youd imagine for a property of this age, were quite steep and narrow. It was a bit sketchy taking a baby up and down. This isnt the fault of the property, just something that we encountered due to our circumstances.

Lovely cottage with a great location.

Space was comfy and well furnished. Nice kitchen and complimentary food items. Had everything we needed to cook. It was so nice to have a working fireplace and firewood provided. The back patio as beautiful as well. Beds were very nice. Location was also amazing.

Bed sheets were clean, but had small stains on them. Also, the area behind the back patio still had lots of trash and recycling left in it, so it was a bit smelly. There were also no instructions for checking out, which would have been helpful.

Perfect cottage in a lovely village.

Entire cottage was well appointed and very comfortable. Beds were excellent. Kitchen is new and had everything one would want. So nice to have a basket of breakfast items, sweets and a bottle of Prosecco! Also milk in the fridge. Close proximity to the High street but set back and quiet. Beautiful garden area in the back.

Lovely property, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, great position in the Cotswolds!

Great location, lovely cottage with lots of amenities. Easy walking distance from shops/pubs/cafs, parking directly outside cottage, dog friendly, sweet little garden.

The lights in the kitchen were very dim and the living room / kitchen just needed a refresh / lick of paint but this didn't effect our stay.
