Fantastic quiet small hotel close to airport

The hotel is very small and quiet. The decor and cleanliness were outstanding. Food and drinks were good value. Fabulously quiet and restful.

Maybe a little more choice of dishes in the dinner menu

Villa Vik is not up to the standard of five star rating, due mainly to the lack of maintenance around the pool area and

Peaceful, spacious accommodation. Spotless rooms and public areas.

The garden/pool area was not maintained as well as the house. Not enough cushions for sunloungers broken parasols and generally a bit neglected.

We liked the location , the gardens and pool area are lovely, the food is excellent

There was no general manager to make on the spot decisions the manger is based in another Hotel, nobody at reception when we arrived, and no offer to help with our luggage to our first floor room (there is no lift). We had water leaking through the ceiling into a cupboard when we reported this to the reception they attended with towels to put under the leak they could not offer us another room because they had to contact the manager who was not available they relocated us to another smaller room the following day We had to ask for a reduction in room price none was offered. The service in the restaurant depended on which waiter was on duty

Superb

A perfect boutique hotel - exactly what we were looking for

Villa Vik is a real oasis, small, charming and quiet. The Cacti and palm garden are a delight the pool is lovely. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Food good. It was perfect for somewhere to relax and recharge but would also work as a base to explore the island.

Very peaceful, relaxing, comfortable hotel with helpful staff.

We were upgraded on arrival to a top room which was amazing. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Cooked eggs as an option every day. Location between aricife (1 mile) and playa Honda (1.5 miles). Peaceful setting.

The hot water to our room was faulty for four out of seven days, and the water pressure very low. We asked about it daily and they tried to help and even offered us another room to use for showering after 3 days. It was sorted in the end and that was fine but for the price I would have expected a discount for four nights. Not much info was forthcoming about what to do or where to go. When we asked for local restaurant recommendations we were told theyre all good which was not the case!

Just spend a week in the Hotel. It was amazing. It is a quiet small high standard hotel, absolutely clean, very friendly & supportive staff, the rooms are big and well equipped, all of the staff take care about covid regulations, nice pool and jacuzzi. We havent been facing any problems at all or feel uncomfortable at any time. Its sad to see how much effort the people invest in their work during Covid and the Hotel probably dont get any profit out of it at the moment. Thanks to all of you for a wonderful week at Lanzarote and The Villa VIK
