Superb

would thoroughly recommend this property you young families or couples, we had a great holiday

we loved being in town and being able to walk everywhere. we also loved that the bedrooms all had their own bathrooms

I thought from the photos the pool was in a better position, the photos were a bit deceiving

Villa 1 Outdated & Poorly Maintained. Perhaps avoid The Boutique Collection managed properties?

Smoke detector alarms all went off throughout the night in our Villa (Villa 1) on night 1 and 2. Managing agents disinterested in assisting until 2nd night of missed sleep. We were asked to wait and liaise with tradespeople. Unit has outdated decor, items not working or broken. Handrail on stairs to pool missing on one side, making using stairs dangerous. Light at front of property not working also dangerous on what is a dark street. Managing Agent The Boutique Collection did not respond to my written complaint. We also rented Villa 2, which is lovely but also many overlooked maintenance issues like broken drawer handles, broken and dirty roller blind, some broken or poorly maintaned decor and furniture & poor internet, TV remotes that don't work. For the money, you could do better in Port Douglas.

Perfect group getaway in Port Douglas.

Beautiful property set just above the Main Street in Port Douglas - one block away - so the shops and restaurants were close but didnt impact on the tranquility. The house is well set up with a wonderful kitchen and plenty of seats for a group of 8 to eat or just lounge around. It was hot and balmy in March so we put the private pool to good use. Its a modern well appointed house so perfect for 4 couples who want to spend quality time together in a nice setting. Short walks to the beach for morning walks followed by coffee.

The house was perfect but the only negative - and we are stretching here - was the TV could have done with a sound bar.

The property was misleadingly advertised. The images on the website made the property much larger and more open-plan than what it really was. The pool was tiny and practically just a dipping pool that can accommodate only two or 3 grown adults at a time. We were not aware that the house had so many levels to it and the downstairs room had no natural light coming into. The living area looked much larger in the pictures. We did a family holiday with my small kids, parents and inlaws who are in their late 60's and early 70's and they found the stairs to be really inconvenient. For the price we paid, it just wasn't worth the money as we have stayed in much nicer places for less.

Lovely house, well appointed, great location !

Great house, views and location! would be happy to stay there again.

Nothing! the only negative was communication with the booking office handling this property (Boutique Collection) was terrible. They never returned calls or texts on several occasions, they also did not reply to booking.com when they were trying to get in touch with them. very frustrating when we were trying to amend dates which could not done online and get done additional information.

DONT DO IT. Waste of good money with rude agents to boot.

DONT DO IT 1. Broken toilet seat - I fell off it in the middle of the night and was left with a bruise.the Agent said, in writing, that the toilet part (hinge)was arriving but they neglected to tell us. 2. Bathrooms were filthy. I have plenty of photos if anyone wants them. 3. The lounge was impossible to sit in. All the springs were broken. The agent said, in writing, they were aware of this, they had asked the owner to replace it. They didnt tell us and still charged us over $3,000 for a couple of nights. 4. It took them several nights to supply keys to open the windows. 5. The cleaning staff who arrived as we were leaving were very rude. We were packing the car and throwing the rubbish out ( we cleaned up because that is who we are) at 10.10am. They parked illegally, blocking the exit and entrance to the property then had the gall to ask us to move our car when another tenant complained. 6. I gave them and Bookings.com ample opportunity to make amends and neither were helpful. I have the email from The Boutique Collection acknowledging and admitting everything above if anyone wants a copy.
