An exceptional home stay that comes with some of the most beautiful views

We had a fairy tale like holiday at Katia/ruperts lovely home. It is a unique property steeped in history. From the terrace and one of the many windows of the property, we have enjoyed amazing sunsets of the Adriatic Sea. One fun fact that the estate was once visited by franz josef I of Austria. The host katia gave us a warm welcome by picking up us. Actually the estate is only five minutes walk from the hvar ferry terminal and a short walk to many beautiful beaches, excellent restaurants parks and historical sites. I enjoyed doing tai chi on her terrace every morning. We had a great time.

Really enjoyed our stay.

Great location and views. Walking distance to ferry station, restaurants, "boardwalk", beach, etc. Yet, very quiet. The apartment was really well appointed - amenities and outdoor space (terrace, garden).

Walk up the steps to the apartment from the ferry is bit challenging with luggage, but in return you get great views and easy access to all of what Hvar has to offer.

Villa Marchi

Villa Marchi is a one of a kind property. I could tell that the manager/owner Rupert really cares about the visitor's experience and the property from the moment we started to communicate. Rupert went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. The property is decorated beautifully and is well equipped with everything needed. The location is up stairs but the view from the main living, the amazing outdoor space and bedroom are panoramic and picturesque...well worth the climb (and it's not that bad). We have two girls ages 10 and 13. We loved this location. It is one of our favorite stays in all of our travels. The location is ideally close to beaches, ferry, restaurants, shops...everything is within 5 minutes walk which can come in very handy when a kid wants a croissant for breakfast, parents need a bottle of wine to enjoy in the mediation room or when the 10 year old forgot her fishing net at the beach. When I say that this is the perfect property, it really is. Rupert made it even better. It's not easy to find the trifecta of a great property, great location and great manager. We want to return for a much longer stay, it was that good.

The Villa is absolutely amazing, so comfortable, beautiful and in a perfect location. Highly recommend!

There is nothing to dislike about this property just note there a lot of steps up to the property so make sure your luggage is light enough to carry

Beautiful apartment, excellent location, and phenomenal patio

Those property is phenomenal. The inside is modern, beautiful, and opens to beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea. There is a washing machine among other appliances. Even more special is the outdoor patio with multiple seating areas. It must be 1000 ft.. If we came back here we would stay here for a week. The breakfast vouchers work for a delicious hotel restaurant nearby. The location is very close to town. The owner, Rupert, is very nice and helpful.

The only negative I can say is that it is loud late at night if you have the windows open as there are many people celebrating late into the night.

This is where you want to stay!

This Villa was STUNNING - and the location was the best !! only 50 m from the ferry - Our host was EXCEPTIONAL - he met us with the keys, took us on a short walking orientation tour pointing out resturant reccomendations, grocery store, bus stop etc - it was perfect! Trust his recommendations - excellent. the villa was beautiful, comfortable beds, we loved drinking wine in the outside dining area.

A sympathetically & beautifully restored apartment in the centre of Hvar Old Town stunning inside & out what more can I say wish I lived here as the location, view & vista are to die for.

There is nothing to dislike about this property just note there a lot of steps up to the property so make sure your luggage is light enough to carry
