Had a great relaxing stay and enjoyed great food.

Up to date facilities, delicious restaurant on site, relaxing pool.

Hard to get the hotel room cool enough for sleep. Bed only had comforter without a thinner sheet which also made it hot for sleeping.

Way too expensive for what it had to offer. Genuine hospitality was lacking

The view was stunning. And the hotel was relatively new and in good condition. Breakfast was good, Colin, the guy from Scotland very attentive and nice. But thats about it.

Way too expensive compared to what it had to offer: We booked a Junior Suite for roughly 400 per night and the room was facing the mountain. Lake view only from the small side window of the room. Quality of dinner food was mediocre. Very complicated to find and then to get to from the parking garage. Very uncomfortable. Multiple rejections of different credit cards, in the end had to pay through PayPal. Colonno had nothing to offer, relatively boring village. Owners and reception personnel came across as professional but genuine hospitality was lacking. Felt like a capital investment to make money.

A decent hotel with stunning views at a decent price.

The Villa is a small boutique hotel in the town of Colonno which is pretty quiet (except for a rooster in the morning) and we did not find much to do around the area. The location is a far from tourist areas and managing transportation around the lake is a bit tricky unless you rent a car, and this hotel has it's own garage. We were in a Superior King suite which has STUNNING views. The concierge and staff were very friendly and helpful and booked us taxis (really expensive) and organized a boat ride with "Boat Lake Como 1975" - this is a must because the prices and captain are amazing! The room and bathroom were clean and modern.

On our first night we found a scorpion in the room, second night a spider the size of my palm and spiderwebs all over the balcony, but thats the price of beautiful natural surroundings. Hotel entrance is only accessible by foot or a buggy which take you up a semi-steep incline. You need to coordinate with conceirge for luggage and everytime you want to leave/return to the hotel unless you enjoy the walk up and are physically able. The reception area is tiny, breakfast was a bit limited but you can order ala carte and no room service at night. If you are looking for luxury and pampering this might not be for you.

Beautiful spot and outstanding staff

What a lovely place! The most beautiful view across Lake Como, the pool was divine and the Green Way walking trail basically starts at the hotel. The staff (Diego, Colin and Giada) were just wonderful - nothing was too much trouble and they clearly enjoyed what they were doing. Breakfast and dinners on the property were delicious and there's a really nice restaurant (La Comacina) right on the Lake, 15 minutes walk away.

We had some trouble with our air conditioning, but it was handled very professionally. The only other thing to be aware of (and it's pretty clear on the hotel's website) is that there's not a lot around it in terms of shops and (with the exception of La Comacina) restaurants, so you really need a car.

Brilliant

Unusual Small Hotel. Spotless. Very , very friendly, helpful staff.

The lovely Restaurant was closed for the day we were there. The Hotel needs to send their staff out to review the local restaurants. our best meal in our 10 day tour was near this hotel, but I can't remember the name of it; next village, Como Direction, opposite the public carpark strip.

Wonderful views and peaceful location

Villa Clementina was a great place to stay, away from the busier towns of Lake Como. The rooms are spacious with a modern style. The restaurant was excellent and staff were friendly helping us with all our questions.

Best view on Como lake

Fantastic view. Very modern, nice breakfast, friendly staff.

Difficult to reach, parking and reaching the hotel with a Golf Car. For people with certain age, difficult to get in and out of the hotel at any time.
