Exceptional

The room was massive and easy to get to while being very clean. We went to the bar the first night the staff was very nice and the food cam out quickly and was great. We had breakfast both mornings and both days it was good and we got everything we could get.

Medieval Castle? YES PLEASE!!!

OMG. what's not to like? It was beautifully renovated with a great fusion of modern while keeping true to being a medieval castle. The food was locally sourced, plentiful and fresh, needless to say sooo delicious!! For an enthusiastic nerd like myself, it was absolute heaven. A true dream come true.

Uggghh, the stairs, although, can't complain, best views in tha house come with a compromise LOL. I would've liked a little more engagement from receptionist staff in regards to the history of the castle and neatby sightseeing recommendations. But woah, our breakfast server came to save the day with suggestions on nearby things to see and do, plus encouraged us to walk around and 'explore' the castle. She was the best!!

Superb

This was my third stay at this hotel and I hope to stay there again.

The bed was comfortable and although it was nearly winter the room was warm. Dinner was very good on both nights with efficient and friendly service. Breakfast was also good.

On the second day at breakfast the cooked breakfast was brought to my table at the same time as my porridge. I would have preferred to have finished my porridge before receiving the cooked breakfast even if that meant waiting.

Staff friendly warm welcome and hotel generally up together.

1 lady was a mess her top was filthy and didnt meet her trousers so you could see her belly she was hobbling badly as had hurt her foot ordered food but the veg had all changed and we were not informed. Breakfast waitress served us fine but then couldnt wait to clear all the plates away from the table, which made it all seem very rushed. Rooms on top floor and friends got that room and they are in their 70s hot water was hot and miss the pressure of water terrible

Brilliant hotel

The staff were outstanding , they couldn't do enough for us. Moira was a completely genuine lovely lady. Her attention to detail in her knowledge was second to none. What a compassionate and caring person she is. We will all return again. The accommodation was first class. Breakfast lovely. The whole experience 10 out of 10.
