We have 4 couples all family so having the 3 bathrooms, a place to cook or the BBQ was convenient but the pool

Disappointing.

There was plenty of room. Great views.

The villa was so dirty! It couldn't possibly have been cleaned properly for months. We couldn't use the filthy oven or bbq. We had to clean the areas we wanted to use. That included vacuuming the sofa. After telling us that we could checkout, the following day the owner offered to send someone to clean. As we had already cleaned we said no but a deep clean was needed when the villa was empty. Sun loungers were also advertised but not available as they had "perished " and not been replaced. The front gates were permanently open as they broken! It is hard to describe how beautiful the villa looked as we approached and the disappointment as we walked in. I have never seen so much dust, grime and dirt in a place you are going to stay in. Even the cutlery draw needed a good clean. The lamps in the bedroom didn't work. So much more but i don't want to spend any more time thinking about the villa. If you are wanting a well positioned villa of a good size check that it has been cleaned. For us it was terribly disappointing.

Gorgeous & Stylish Resort Style House with the perfect hosts.

We booked this house last minute after an issue with another property and not being able to get access. And we were absolutely delighted when we arrived and saw the property. It is absolutely beautiful and situated in a lovely quiet street in Craiglie. We had a hire car and this house is a short 5-10 min drive to the Main Street of Port Douglas. The rooms were stylish decorated and very spacious. It would fit 8 adults comfortably although we only had 4. Each room had access to a spacious bathroom and had ample hanging/storage space. The house and decor reminded me of being in Bali and Hawaii. The aircon and fans kept us very cool, as did the beautiful pool surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Despite having a golf course at the back fence, it was super quiet and we enjoyed the view of golfers and the numerous birds on the course. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed for our stay, including a Nespresso machine and pods (much appreciated!). Juanita was a fabulous host and despite our last minute booking arranged for the housekeeper to drop by to deal with anything we needed. And she also arranged for a pool cleaner to come the very next morning (as they werent prepared for the last minute booking). Mind you the pool was well maintained and didnt need much cleaning. We absolutely loved our stay and well be back. Thank you for making our stay so special.

We did have a problem with the bins which really wasnt the owners fault. We couldnt find the red bin for garbage night and it appears a neighbour may have taken it? Then the other bin (yellow), disappeared and reappeared a day later which was quite strange. We just just left a note for housekeeping when we left to advise that we had to put everything in the one bin. The only suggestion I would have would be for some champagne stoppers in the kitchen. I couldnt find one but I just went out and bought my own. No big issue.

Would return to Port Douglas in different accomodation

Spacious house in good location

The house is in need of maintenance, doors to one of the bathrooms loose and also powder room door does not close properly, in general the house is tired and when we arrived floors and BBQ not clean, most areas were dusty and showing signs of wear, gave feedback in real-time as asked and no resolution offered.

Nice large property with multiple bedrooms, nice patio, nice location on a golf course

Dryer not working, dust settled on headboards of beds as well as in sections around the lounge, bathroom door falling off and tap handle missing

Exceptional Holiday Home

We loved the location of the property. The property itself was spectacular it was beautifully presented opened and spacious. It had everything we needed upon arrival. They even had the air con going for a cool arrival during the afternoon heat.

We had no issues at all.

nice place with excellent pool area, however it didnt really feel worth the premium price it felt there

pool was great.

The property feels a little old and tired (not what you expect from the photos) and it wasnt very clean with dirt and crumbs all over the floor. There were only very basic items provided for the premium price (i.e. only green tea, no normal tea; no basic condiments provided beyond salt & pepper, such as cooking oil).
