    Bad stay at the whitehouse muxton
    The room was nice clean and facilities were good
    Full volume music till 3.00 am eventually managed to go to sleep at 5.20 am but up at 7.00 am. Staff invited there friends over and as our rooms were over the bar we had boom boom noise. Room was actually vibrating due to the bass. Spoke to manager in the morning and had rebate of rooms. Brother and his other half had same issue too. There was only the option of contential breakfast but the fruit they put out had mould growing on it. Overall a really bad experience. Disappointed as the last time we stayed they were 10 out of 10. The manager needs to sort out the late night lockins and remember hotel visitors pay for the privilege at stopping at your hotel.

    A really lovely stay and would definitely recommend and return
    It was lovely and clean, friendly staff, lovely ambience, well equipped, great toiletries and towels and dog friendly. It was modern but retained the nice independent hotel feel.
    Minor point, but we werent told the door would be locked before we returned before 10pm - HOWEVER there was a doorbell and it was answered immediately.

    Comfortable but not a refreshing overnight stay, we would have been better travelling home instead
    The room was warm and comfortable
    There was a lot of noise coming from a gathering in the bar which continued didnt suit us staying with a family. There was a lot of mould in the bathroom and in the corner of one of our rooms which should be dealt with. We mentioned the mould to the duty manager but have heard nothing from them in acknowledgment of our concerns

    Pretty much the worst paid-for night's sleep I've ever had.
    Comfy room. Everything you would need.
    No soundproofing in the top bedrooms. Was treated to a couple in a nearby room bickering at 1.30, 2.20ish, 4.30am. Pretty much the worst paid-for night's sleep I've ever had. Very disappointed. Also not even asked at the fleeting checkout how my stay went. Was too tired to bother.

    We were attending a function at Donnington barracks and this hotel was only 2 mins away. The hotel was very quaint and everywhere was so clean. The restaurant was amazing and the food so tasty.
    The beds. The mattress was very uncomfortable with no support at all and you could feel every spring. The pillows were so thin we struggled to sleep.
